The hotel was fairly busy (graduation time) and the breakfast area was inadequate for the number of guests. It could be organised slightly better too to allow easier access to the various food stations. There is a major bottleneck around the toaster area.   "My husband and I usually stay in Maggie Valley when we go to the mountains but decided to try another location on this long weekend trip. Check in was quick and the desk clerk was very friendly. Our room was very clean and roomy..comfortable beds, electric sockets in places that were convenient to ..."plug in our laptops and a very clean bathroom with nice fluffy towels. We ate breakfast there two mornings and there was a very nice selection of things to eat. Becky, who was in charge of the breakfast room was so friendly...she greeted all the guests, circulated among the guests to make sure we had everything we needed and I even heard her tell one person that she had a to go box that he could fix up. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. The first day we drove up to the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest and took a wonderful hike and then drove part of the Cherohala Skyway.
