This property is pretty standard for the Hampton Inn line but what really set it apart for me was the excellent front desk staff. I arrived a little early so my room was not ready when I got there, but the front desk staff took my cell number and said they would call me when it ewas ready they also gave me some recommnedations on what I could do while waiting. Also whenb asked for eating recommnedations they gave several excellent choices and even had printed directions on how to get to where I picked to go. " More >

This is a historic property that is kept up well. Everything you would expect to work does, and it's clean and fresh. We had one breakfast at the inn--absolutely delicious and filling! Warm, hospitable service. We had one breakfast at a local eatery. At the time of our visit, the inn does not provide breakfasts on Mondays (the rate is reduced accordingly), and so we had breakfast at the recommended Sidney's Cafe. That was delicious as well. All in all, this is what I would expect from a B&B that's doing it right--comfortable, clean rooms, and delicious breakfasts.
