  "I stayed at this Embassy Suites one night May 13th. The decor of this hotel is more contemporary than other Embassy Suites. The one thing I didn't like, there was only one bank of three elevators at the corner of the hotel. If you stay at Embassy Suites, you know that all the rooms are interior a..."nd overlook a courtyard. This didn't work for me since when your room is on the other side of the hotel you have to walk quite a distance. Not to much trouble for going to/from your room during your stay, but for lugging suitcases and bags on check in/out it is a pain. The breakfast was on par with other Embassy Suites. The one critique I have is that I wish they would monitor the kids running around the hotel. " More >

  "We got this hotel because it was only 10 minuyes from the columbus zoo & it had an indoor pool. The staff was very friendly, however our room smelled slightly moldy and the ceiling had several water spots. The pool was an indoor pool but was still cold so we were unable to use it.   "My wife and I drove up from Tennessee for an OSU home game last October. I have family that live in the Sawmill/Smoky Row area, so I needed to find a place that was close to both family and campus. Sawmill Road is pretty congested, but this is "off the beaten path", so to speak. Tuller runs parallel..." to the interstate, but this location is relatively quiet, with access to a lot of shops nearby. Plus I've had a number of positive stays at various Hampton Inns, so we chose to stay at this location. Our stay was as expected - Friendly staff, clean hotel (lobby area, hallways, room/bathroom), and quiet. This hotel was recently updated/renovated, which is nice. Breakfast was typical continental fare, but as expected. It was pretty chaotic on gameday, but that was to be expected, since the area hotels fill up with OSU fans. We booked in advance, so we stayed for ~$100/night. Given our experience, we'll be coming back! " More >
