The food was very good with no fancy prices, the beer was always as it should be and the staff very friendly. That too was a very large bowl and was delicious served with fresh crusty bread. Alt..."hough the upstairs bedrooms are not large there is a spacious bathroom, a good shower and a second toilet downstairs. Through double doors from the lounge is a sunroom, nice and bright and warm. Faringdon is small but central to get to many of the lovely villages around the Cotswolds (we are from Melbourne and love the small villages dotted around the area) and half an hour to Oxford.
