  "We came 3 hours from Canberra to cute Carcoar on a weekend. We chose the 5 Froggies G-House Project because it sounded solid and was close to Cowra (we had a Neila booking... Oh baby!). Melanie our host is a champion. If service was three bears, she'd be just right. Boutique chocolates? Wine?..." Home made shortbread? Correctly fitting sheets? This place has it all. Breakfast was splendid... Fruit, muesli, yoghurt, espresso coffee, super local eggs and moreish bacon cooked to order. One complaint? The plate wasn't big enough! We stayed in the stables out back.   "The Five Frogs is a wonderful place to stay, the beds are comfortable, the room we stayed in (Room 3) had a really airy, bright bathroom with spa, plenty of hot water and enough pressure to blow you out of the shower recess!! The room was clean and tidy, and linen crisp and fresh. Mine host (or h..."ostess for us less politically correct!) Maelanie certainly made you feel at home and welcome, and the breakfast consisted of juice, cereals, fresh fruit salad (which is the best I've had for ages) and freshly made espresso coffee. Cooked breakfast was a treat - eggs, bacon, toast, all nicely presented and befitting the price you pay. Bathroom was great - clean and bright, downside was only hand wash at the basin, no shower gel, conditioner or shampoo which you would need to bring yourself. Dinners in Carcoar are a hit and miss affair - Five Frogs apparently prepares dinners, but didn't do it on the Saturday night we visited.
