  "This is an older property, plain with no frills. But it meets my basic requirements for a hotel: it's clean and safe. In addition, the beds were comfortable, and it's within easy walking distance of downtown. All this for under $100 including tax, for a room with 2 double beds, a microwave and refri..."gerator. A couple things I didn't like about this motel: they still use regular old-fashioned keys, not key cards. This feels less secure because the code can't be changed after each guest. But once inside, there is an extra dead-bolt you can lock that doesn't have a key on the outside. The other thing that wasn't great was the smell inside the room, like too much cleaning product. Here are a couple warnings for future guests: the stairs to the upper floors are shallow, not so great for the less-sure footed or anyone wearing heals or carrying a bulky bag.
