  "Our daughters gave us a certificate to stay two nights at Sandy Cove Inn for Christmas. We were not able to use it till last week but the timing turned out to be great. We arrived about 1:30 PM and our room was already available. Since it was sunny we made for the beach at Canon Beach and had a deli..."ghtful walk. Then we returned to our hotel and our hostess pointed out some good dining areas. Our room was quite comfortable though rather small. One thing we missed was a microwave though that would have made it more crowded. Fortunately there was always hot coffee at the front desk and even plenty of delicious raisin cookies. After an early morning walk on the beach we went north to Fort Clatsop. It was rainy but this was a good stop while it was raining. It worked perfect for us because the beach was right there and the main..." strip was a half a block away.I loved waking up and opening the door and being able to see and hear the ocean waves from my bed. Oh and the jacuzzi tub is so awesome, especially after a long day walking=) The staff were very polite, and the room was very clean.The only thing I would suggest is to bring bubble bath for the tub. Customer service is over the top excellent. So friendly and helpful they make you feel as if they have known you for yea..."rs and truely can not wait to see you again. Made great suggestions for restaurants. Pool is small as some have stated but I did not go there for the pool so did not care. Having the breakfast was great. It was well stocked and very good. We filled our tray and took it back to our room. Loved the warm cookies after 4 and the free popcorn later. We will be back again and again. " More >
