  "We spent 3 fabulous nights in a 2 bedroom apartment over the Easter Holidays with our daughter. We got a 3 for 2 deal and paid $500 for the 3 nights, amazing value and what an apartment. Location was fantastic being a minute to the restaurants and shops and only a few minutes walk to the chairlifts ..."etc. The apartment was spacious, well set out, had an amazing view and we all agreed that we could actually live in an apartment like this which we have never felt before in our travels.   "My friend and I shared Apartment 16 at Squatters Run, (one bedroom apartment with sofabed in lounge) and found it so comfortable and aesthetically pleasing that we changed our plans and stayed there a third night. Manager Nigel was the perfect host and we really enjoyed the dvd library watching A Ma..."n for All Seasons with a young John Hird and a young-ish Leo McKern. Great kitchen for all our cooking needs. Excellent Cambridge Audio sound system. Bathroom was great and extra separate loo a bonus. I found the reading lamp in the bedroom and enjoyed The Tulip by Anna Pavrod - all things tulipmania in the Netherlands C17th. The private parking was great, the location very convenient and right near the Terrace Restaurant where we had superb steak. Our waitress Annie was wonderful.   "We stayed here for two nights in May - with a very good package deal that included the accommodation, hot breakfast each morning and a 'Summer Pass' (note that even though it's called a 'Summer' Pass, the Hotel's deals generally continue until the end of May). This was a special celebration (why we ..."went in May) - and for us it was great - a lovely quiet time in the Hotel and all of Thredbo Village. Nice to go before it gets crowded with the skiers and boarders from next month! Like all rooms, our room (level 1) had a great mountain view - nice to see the snow at the top of the mountain range. For us, the room was very comfortable, warm and cosy - had everything we needed. A short walk down the corridor and we were in the Hotel's Cascades restaurant which was excellent for dinner and breakfast - great fresh food (a good varied menu), great service, atmosphere and outlook (get yourself a table by the window and you could gaze up at the mountain range forever).
