  "My husband and I stopped here for a night when driving from NC back to MD. I wish we could have stayed longer! It was late in the evening and the weather was taking a turn for the worse when we arrived, but the Inn was warm and welcoming - and Vikki immediately called a couple of local restaurants..." to see if they were open late enough for us to drive over. We had a surprisingly good (and inexpensive) dinner at a Mexican restaurant (Poblano's) about a ten-minute drive from the B&B. When we returned, we had a nice chat with Vikki (complemented by a sighting on the exterior back patio of a friendly local raccoon) and a little taste of the local moonshine (!) before heading off to bed. Breakfast was delicious. Vikki was super accommodating and friendly, and our room was extremely clean and comfortable. I would love to come back when we have more time to hike and see the area - and when it's not snowing in March. " More >

We highly recommend, as others have, eating at the Monsoon, a short 3 mile drive, where Mel will cook you outstanding Thai food.
