Instead, we had a generous and airy double bedroom, in pale colours with modern bathroom and decent tea/coffee making f..."acility, sufficient for more than the usual stingy 4 or 5 standard teabags. Breakfast was well cooked, delicious and efficiently served by pleasant waiting staff. The coffee was particularly nice (and we've had some pretty weak and tasteless coffee elsewhere on our tour).   "I have to admit we were skeptical booking a hotel room in a remote area of Scotland. Our adventure to Torridon began with the ride to the hotel. We were so amazed by the sights along the way. We saw sheep grazing along the mountain, and even in the road at times. There were times we had to pull ..."off along the side of the road to allow an oncoming vehicle to pass because the road narrowed down to one lane. The view of the Loch and mountains were utterly breath taking. Our room faced the Loch, so when we woke up in the morning we looked out the window to the amazing view. The staff were wonderful. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was simply delicious! The hotel was a beautiful castle style building. We loved everything about our trip to the Torridon Hotel. The icing on the cake was the Highland Coos (cows) that were grazing in the field near the Hotel. They will forever remind me of Scotland. I would Love to return again to this amazing place.
