  "We chose the Norwich Inn for an overnight to visit the nearby King Arthur Flour Store and Complex and relatives an hour away from Norwich. I requested accommodation in the new Walker building which was clean, comfortable and quiet. Check-in was quick and pleasant and we had a great "Old Fashioned"..." in the Inn's bar. Town is typical of Vermont, some interesting architecture aside from the rather ugly gas station/convenience store next door. We chose to have dinner at the Inn's restaurant - service was wonderful and the food excellent, price reasonable. You can also dine in the Bar with the same menu but the dining room is more comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was also excellent the next morning with a very cheerful server.   "Stayed here while visiting Tuck at Dartmouth as nothing was available in Hanover. This was a quick 3-5 minute drive away so very convenient. We stayed in one of the newer buildings in the back which was new and very nice (fireplace, nice decor, towel warmer in the bathroom!), but probably would have..." liked a more historical/rustic room in the main house. Did not get to try the bar serving drinks from the brewery but did have a nice breakfast in the dining room. I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the college! " More >
