  "We took our kids and granddaughter and stayed for a week at Massanutten in a 2 bedroom unit. The resort is very large and you will need a car to get around. The unit was very large and clean. It appeared to have new carpet and updated linens. Although it did not have grantite counters, the kitch..."en had everything we needed. Disappointed that we had a shared laundry, (shared only with lower unit ) but liked having the laundry so close - but with the unit being so large was surprised that they couldn't find a spot for it in the unit. The mountian views were great from our screened porch. There were many deer around so you had to be careful driving up the mountain roads as they could be anywhere. There was alot of actiivities scheduled and close (on the resort). Loved the water park! The water park was very well staffed and fun for the whole family. Only wished the resort was closer to a town. It took at least 10 minutes to drive down the mountain and at least another 10 minute... " More >

  "Great family vacation, lots to do on resort."
  "Great place to stay for a family vacation. Large and clean pool, also an indoor pool which came in handy when rained. Lots activities ti choose from and (for a fee of course) for all ages. We had 3,9 and 12 year old. My son enjoyed golfing with his dad, the activity and nature centre had daily fre..."e and paid nature activities. Rooms were very large and clean. We had a 2 bedroom, very nice except tv in main living room was very small and there was hardly enough living room furniture for family of 5. The petting zoo and horse riding, my kids loved it but we only went once, waaayy over priced. You can't beat the natural scenery, mountains and wildlife, we saw deer daily on sides of mountain. Would have been nice if there were some more hiking trails, there were some on mountain Scenic lookout inresort. We drove into town-15 min drive for shopping and food etc. Highly recommend driving to the Shenandoah caves, about hour away, highlight of our trip. " More >

  "It was a clean resort, family friendly. Our unit the living room was large you could hear people in the next unit, but it was quiet in the evening. You had to drive to everything. Our experience with staff was positive. Golf was a little costly for the courses unless you sat through the sales pitch...." We played at Packsaddle, a short ride and less cost. Skyline Cafe at the light on Rt 33 was a nice place We took a trip to Jefferson home, for us it was less then a hours drive. " More >
