You need to walk through the clinic to get to the rooms more or less- not the treatment rooms, but nurses about in uniform, pictures of babies they have helped with and their staff on the walls, patients around. It's obvious it's a c..."linic. In general it is a very small corridor of rooms, they have all been done up to a high standard and are very nice. The restaurant is good also, tasty food. I found the atmosphere a bit too quiet and was wondering who was there for treatment. The hotel is set on a steep hill. Good if you like a good view and don't mind the tough walk up from the town, but there is always quite cheap taxis if you do! " More >

  "I went to a metal gig in Zlin and thought this was nice play to recover at... and it was. You obviously get the usual classic Czech silliness like two single beds pushed together making it a double. This seems standard across the country unless you to 4* plus. Room was however very clean and pretty ..."modern. I suppose given this is a spa... the bathroom was very good - if I was picky, then the shower head's height isn't adjustable. There was a decent fridge with plenty of beer to start the night - and not overpriced beer. Excellent wifi. I can't talk about sleep quality as I probably had too much to drink at that point to judge that... but I do remember one strange thing. When waking up in the morning I thought I could hear music and wasn't sure where it was coming from. Given I was half deaf following the metal gig, any noise was rather irritable.   "I have stayed at Penzion Uno several times in the last few years, most recently in May 2013. It is consistently spotless, comfortable, good value for money, and the food in their restaurant is excellent. Zlin is very quiet, especially in that neighbourhood. The Penzion has a nice view over a hill..." and some forest. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, good showers, a/c, fresh air, nice bedding and towels, comfortable beds. Most beds are medium firm, if you prefer softer ask for an extra duvet to use as a mattress topper. Nice TVs, free wifi, mini fridges, lots of shower gel/shampoo, nice heated towel racks which are great for drying clothes as well if you are there for a long time and need to wash something out. Some rooms have extra features such as deep tubs, or balconies/decks. It is a small family owned business, and the folks who run it juggle several duties, as in any family owned small business, but they offer good service.
