  "We had a comfortable stay here, marketed to us as a good base to explore Venice by the tour operator in the UK. Admittedly, we could never have afforded a hotel such as this in Venice but it is still quite a distance if you rely on taxis (who were quoting €45 each way to Venice). The hotel shuttle b..."us was €6pp each way to the station but only went at 9.00am and picked up at 8pm. We therefore decided to hire a car. The receptionist was very helpful (and patient!), gave good local advice and organised the car hire for us. The rooms are clean and comfortable; only let down by the lack of tea and coffee making facilities (which on reflection isn't mentioned on the web site), and noisy air conditioning which was ok because it was only April so we could turn it off. Breakfast was good as was the evening meal and the staff were friendly attentive. Although there is a bar in the hotel, it never seemed to be open which was a shame.   "We book this hotel as our base to visit Venice. Rooms are very nice and big (we had family room) with very nice bedding. Surrounding is quiet and green.
