  "Sorry this is a bit late. I have a lot going on here in North Carolina. I wanted to say what a great time I had on my recent visit to Costa Rica Yoga Spa from 4/28/13 to 5/11/13. The Yoga Spa is such a beautiful place. It was a peaceful and life changing experience. The staff was so nice and helpful..."—especially in translating my southern country lingo into Spanish. The excursions I went on were wonderful—especially the waterfall hike with Marvin and the Magical Mystery Tour to San Juanillo with Erik! In addition, I loved my daily morning and afternoon trips to watch Erik and Tony surf. I really enjoyed just walking the beach and meeting new people. The yoga was great and the yoga instructors were extremely attentive and helpful. Plus, the massage with Lisa and acupuncture session with Javier were awesome—just what this 68-year old body needed!   "We stayed two nights at this hotel on the beach, in the sleepy town of Garza, between Samara and Nosara. The three of us stayed in a suite with three bedrooms, one king and two queens, with two bathrooms and a large kitchen. Friendly Marta and her boys were always cleaning and available for whatev..."er we needed. A grocery is nearby and we saw places to eat but chose to utilize the kitchen and cook our own food. Marta says the sodas, family run restaurants serve fresh seafood for reasonable prices. There are iguanas and monkeys nearby to enjoy. Coming from Nicoya take the road to Nosara, turn right at the gas station, when you get to Garza, about 15 minutes, it's the first driveway turning left. Away from the hustle and bustle of Samara and Nosara you will have the beach to yourself, never crowded. Kayaking, fishing and paddleboarding are available. " More >

The hotel rooms are very clean and neat , I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and never had any unpleasant experiences in the rooms , the beds are firm but with just about the right amount of softness , I have some lower back issues that can be irritated by poor mattresses , these are very good quality along with the linens The staff is exceptional , very hospitable and well trained , they will go out of their way to insure every thing goes well , security in the rooms has never been an issue , I never lock the room and leave valuables around all the time , being in another country for some t...
