"My wife and I spent the night as a wedding anniversary treat and we weren't disappointed. We arrived in time for afternoon tea which was served in the library. The afternoon tea was excellent - lots of coffee, which was regularly replenished and outstanding food. I had the 'Gentleman's' afternoon te..."a and my better half the 'Champagne' afternoon tea. Before you leave, ask a member of staff to give you a little tour including the chapel. They are more than happy to do so and have a wealth of information about the hall's history right up to its current plans for expansion - very interesting.
We paid a little extra to upgrade to a suite but on check-in we were allocated a much bigger suite with amazing views across the lake and rolling countryside complete with roaming deer. The bedrooms are in keeping with the rest of the building, complete with the highest ceilings, real fireplaces and antique...
