The buffet is so-so, but we were really impressed by the performance.

It was my first time coming to the island and thanks for all the reviewers on this site, I've chosen the dinner package at Te Ra'ai. The package includes a pre-dinner show introducing the ancient way of cooking, the main buffet dinner with special event live music celebration (Anniversary, birthday, etc), then followed by the main after-dinner show, which is... The show and other aspects of the evening are excellent. The food was a little disappointing. It wasn't terrible, there was just nothing great about it. It is definitely worth going for the show (however it's the only show that I went to on the island, so I can't really compare).

It is said that the higher the expectations, the higher the chances for frustration. In this case I'm not afraid of raising anyone's expectations because there's no chance for frustration. The show is super good, and the service is excellent. The food you may say is kinda taste free, but don't misunderstand me. The ideia of the restaurant is to... More

What an amazing experience! My husband and I reserved a dinner / show spot through their website and had our B&B confirm the reservation when we arrived to Rapa Nui. We were picked up at our B&B and transported to the restaurant. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Victor - he and his wife "run the show". Once... More

Excellent place. It was recommended by our guide (who is the wife of one of the dancers) so I was a bit worried she might be biased but I have to admit she was 100% right - it is the best place to go on the island. The dancers are simply amazing, the show goes on for almost two hours... More

This was one of my favorite nights on the island! Victor Lka invites people to his home every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday for a traditional Rapa Nui culture dinner and show. This is not your average commercial whip-the-tourist-in type of deal. Holding my Pisco sour in hand, I went to sit around the pit, waiting for the unearthing ceremony.... More
