Really excelllent food, good wine list, excellent service and great views. A little expensive for what you get but worthwhile.
A fantastic atmosphere. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food divine. Overall an experience not to be missed.
If you frequent Michelin-starred restaurants, you'll know what I mean. At €270 for 2 it's not cheap, but WOW!, you really don't mind paying this bill. It's perfect for holiday dining -as opposed to the 'stuffy' city centre ones used mainly for business entertaining- and as such the staff are more relaxed. Most have big international experience, and are very... More
Our first day in Corsica. We land in Bastia, get our car and decided to drive around the Cap Corse. My husband had investigated restaurants and what a pick. About an hour drive from the airport we find this charming place. Service, food impeccable. A wonderful view of the harbor. A bottle of wine. It couldn't have been a better... More
Best restaurant in Corsica. Ate there 2 nights in a row. Actually stayed in Corsica an extra night just to eat there again.
Brilliant food and view. Creative and just looking at the plate is an art work. The menu degustation with 6 different courses is fabulous.
We had the tasting menu outside on the harbour side.Every dish on the tasting menu delighted except one,but all lived up to Michelin status. The dessert made us laugh out loud at its design ,never mind its taste. This was backed up with good Corsican wine.We all ambled to our local villa full and content. This place is not cheap and a... More
Nice food in a gorgeous setting. Six courses well selected. Amuses vouched were great and showed a bit of imagination, starter of risotto with a Parmesan crisp was sensational, fish course very good. The only bad note was really in the main where the separate dishes, veal, foie GRAS and assorted other bites did not really come together as one... More
We stayed two nights in Erbalunga and treated ourselves the last night at this restaurant based on the Lonly Planet guide. We didn't know what to expect and the very pleasently surprised. The location is charming, the individual balcaney over the miniscule port makes one feel unique. The set menu (68 euros/head) was an explosion of tastes and variety, superbly... More
Le Guide Michelin rates this restaurant with 1 star. When we had dinner there, our expectations were not met. The menu is (a) overpriced for what you get (b) the food is inconsistent in quality and (c) the dishes lack harmony and taste. Noteworthy is, that locals did recommend NOT to go there. We felt, that tourists are more attracted... More
