We stopped on our way back from Florence to Menton in France having found Da O'Vittorios in the Michelin Guide. Not even 5 minutes from the Motorway exit - perfect! Great Italian cooking. The interior was full of originality and charm - even had it's own old English red phone box! Staff really attentive and a free post dinner Camogli... More

Recco is often considered as the capital of the Liguria gastronomy, at least for the "Riviera di Levante" (the coast at the east of Genoa). Well, that might be true, and certainly O'Vittorio represent a peak of this tradition: a historical restaurant, opened many many years ago, that has maintained a stainless style and unchanged quality. The food is simply... More

If it is authentic Italian food your after then this is the place to eat in. I have eaten there several times and every time the food was very good, their foccacia is the best I have ever had. It is friendly and the service is excellent. Their hotel room are very nice and comfortable.

Had lunch here on a visit to the area---homemade pasta, homemade foccacia, vintage atmosphere---excellent pasta with nuts, fish with potatoes...felt very authentic and very Italian...not much English heard or spoken.

So far the tastiest Italian food in the fifth trip to this country. A little hard to find but well worth the effort. They import from Canada the special wheat they use and the local delicious special cheese in their out of this world PIZZA. Exceptional salad and dishes. Service is excellent and friendly. They do not seem to gouge... More

Well-known in Genova and serving the best traditional dishes for the area. Medium pricing and wide variety menu, you'll need some Italian to get through to staff.

The place is beautiful and enjoyable. The waiters press you to order drinks. The fish is not prepared nor served, just do it yourself. Plenty of bones in the linguinis in red mullet sauce. Pricey and not convincing.

The best focaccia I've tasted in Liguria... If you are in Genoa or Cinque Terre, it worths to take the highway and go to Recco (about 30 minute from Genoa) to eat this famous focaccia (Recco's focaccia is thin and prepared with stracchino cheese). Also other main courses are very good: not only pesto (of course) but also 'panzerotti con... More

We have been there during eastern vacation. This restaurant is situated in a beautiful little city called Recco, forty minutes fm Genoa. Many actors and famous people have eaten there. Price is quite expoensive but the food is very fresh and service is very good. Highly recommended.
