After reading all the rave reviews about this Indian, we were a little disappointed when we went to eat there. It wasn't because the food was bad or anything like that, but just wasn't as amazing as people made out. Perhaps the change of chef has made the difference to the food??
Back to the place - all the dishes...

My wife and I ate at Live India at least six times during January and February while staying at Kantary Bay Hotel and we had really good Indian food which was cleverly spiced but without specialising in any particular Indian region. The staff were friendly and efficient although there could be a short wait if they were very busy, as...

We were looking forward to this place due to the reviews.
I am starting to question how some places get great reviews.
We waited 1 hour for our food, other people wait 2 and a half hours. People were walking out as they waited so long. When the food turned up, it was not the best.

Yes, it's ok, nothing special anymore. the old chef has moved round the corner to a new Indian called Curry Night Indian Restaurant. I will be following.
We have stayed at Cape Panwa on four occasions and each time we have eaten at this restaurant at least three times in 14 days! Absolutely fabulous food, freshly cooked to order, and at unbelievably cheap prices. Anita and her family are very friendly and welcoming - really lovely people. If the restaurant has a website I would love to...

These guys do their Indian well. Its a small operation, but the taste is there. The only downfall of this little gem is that because the kitchen is so small its takes quite some time to get your food if the restaurant is busy.
Its simple. If you are in the Panwa area, want Indian, you should definitely give it...

So glad this place now has a review spot. Although we visited last year, we still talk of it as one of the best Indian meals we have had outside of India. The family that own and run it are charming too. Recommended if you like proper Indian food.
