The food was great and I hung out at the boat house during the day and relaxed on their beach. Evenings were always great to meet other travelers and enjoy the sunset or stargaze. I had pizza, lobster and fresh fish caught by the local fishermen. I also had fun at the drum circle and they were very friendly.

For - Good food & can definitely recommend prawns in coconut/chilli sauce. Against - Erratic evening opening and no prices on menu

Wednesday night is drumming night. Get there early as not so many tables. Set on the beach with great food - try the squid in a chilli coconut soup, just to die for. The rum punch is the best we tasted but that could be because it's76% proof! Atmosphere is second to none as you get carried away with the... More

Well priced, excellent view and a better menu than most. Choice of sea food, chicken dishes and other local dishes. Drum night every Wednesday and pizza lunch once a week.

Everything you could want from a beach bar and restaurant. Relaxed atmosphere combined with great food helped down buy strong rum punch. Wednesday night's drum and limbo special will live in my mind for years to come. Very friendly staff and owner. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

The restaurant is located right at the beach and the decoration is inventive. However when we arrived at 7pm tables were not cleaned up and somehow messy. We were there twice and the meals were delicious but the service was terrible. For what you get overall the prices are too high and almost at European level.

A fantastic view of the Castara coast from our seats on the deck. The pizza was fantastic, the service was good and the prices were pretty good too!! :)

The only place for miles with a varied menu. You need to book as Sharon will only open the restaurant if she has any bookings, the bar is generally always open. Sharon is a great cook and if you want something special such as Lobsters just ask and she will provide it if you let her know in advance.

Earlier in the day, we had set up on the main Castara beach. To get to the restaurant there is a hilly hike of about 400 yards, but you can always swim over instead - it's a lot shorter by water. The decor is funky and full of character, and of course everywhere, the view of the Castara cost is... More
