This was our second visit to La Tegala and once again we were really impressed with the quality of the cuisine (Spanish) and the discreet yet attentive service. The chef was previously at La Era and has certainly brought the same quality to La Tegala' Well worth the trouble to make a reservation.
Five of us ate dinner at La Tegala on 6:03:2013.
The building is impressive and the large windows give a great view of the surrounding area. We entered into a long narrow pleasant bar which was unmanned. The waitress greeted us and took us through to the dining room without offering us the choice of drinks at the bar. There...

Having read the reviews on Trip Adviser we decided we had to give this restaurant a go. We have been to Lanzarote a number of times and in the past our favourite restaurant has always been La Era, but this closed a couple of years ago. On seeing that the chef had now moved to La Tegala only reinforced our...

Ate lunch here on the way to airport at end of holiday. Fine dining food and presentation. Service is very attentive and excellent, but a little less formal than some similar establishments - but good for it. Building's architecture is fantastic and views great.
3 courses each and drinks for a couple is about €90. For this quality that is...

This is one of the best restaurants on the Canary Islands. In fact, it is one of my favorite restaurants to visit. The people are extremely friendly as well. If you go there, the goat cheese with tomato sorbet and the steak can be highly recommended. The owner gets his food from different places of the world.
Visited here twice when visiting Lanzarote last year - both excellent. Back on holiday in lanzarote and visited again still excellent food, service and ambiance. I Started with octopus partner had cuttle fish balls - both tasty well presented dishes. Mains were young goat(kid) and suckling pig followed by the superb chocolate souffle and the house desert medley. Had a...

From start to end the service and attention to detail was faultless. The menu was interesting and very reasonably priced. The wine list was extensive (though not all the higher end bottles in stock). Our beautifully set table over looked the strait between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura and sun set over the volcanoes behind us. From the gratuitous mise en bouche to...

The food was great. Fish stew, cuttlefish and chickpeas, rabbit etc, all imaginatively prepared and beautifully presented. First rate service too and an architecturally distinguished building to boot. Well behaved children are made welcome and the vibe is very civilised. Good wine list. For a family of four it cost a hundred and thirty euros, which is actually amazing value...

La Tegala is an old restored Finca with a modern twist. The angular shaped modern restaurant is spacious and has view to the cliffs beyond puerto del Carmen and Fuerteventura on one side and the volcanic hills leading to La Asomada behind. An excellent setting in which to enjoy good simply cooked Canarian food served in a Nouvelle Cuisine style....
