The food here was amazing but you can find amazing food pretty much anywhere in Thailand. I know they have huge rave reviews but for me what makes it a 3 instead of a 5 were the staff - they didn't like that I was patting a street puppy (street dogs are a huge issue in Thailand so I do... More

We stayed in kata beach for 2 nights and we stumbled upon red chair our first night. Best Thai tea. The service was amazing. The price is exceptional for the food. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. You have to try the ribs very good. We loved the food soo much we ordered take out our last... More

Simple, cheap and authentic. Hard to go wrong with that! If you're looking for Thai food (I never tried the Western food) this is the place. We come here every time we come back.

Food is delicious here! It's a dive spot, but the food is the best. We came back here two more times during our trip to Phuket because it was so good.

Another of our favourites. We have been to Kata I don't know how many times and this is a nice find. Unpretentious, good quality and real Thai food that is not at all expensive. It is for sure one of the cheaper places to eat in Kata but then it is not on the main street and about 700m up... More

We had a simple Thai dinner there. The staff was quick, smiling and we ate great Thai dishes there. Their price was very affordable, we can recommend it without any doubt.

When we visited Kata two years ago the place was superb with a good number of Thais eating there and thai takeouts were plenty. This winter mostly thai with farangs ate there. I was a bit surprised to see that. Suprising was also to see that the takeout counter was gone. Well, when the meal arrived I discovered why.. Red... More

We were first introduced to The Red Chair some years ago and over the years the restaurant now has more professional style menus and informal uniforms for the waitresses. The basic layout inside adds to the natural feel. The one thing that has not changed is the quality of the food, it is still the best Thai available in a... More

I love traveling to places and feeling like I've actually experienced a bit of what it's like to be a local. This was totally accomplished by going to Red Chair. Their fare is really good, the service is fast even when the place is packed, and the food is cheap. My husband said their spring rolls are the best he's... More
