We enjoyed our tapas dinner at the Sandbar. They offered a wide variety of dishes in a perfect location with a very friendly staff and owner. We felt truly welcomed.

Everything we had was amazing. Really the best food we had all week. Someone told us the next day that they are between chefs right now, but we couldn't tell from the quality of the food. Make sure to get the duck and the beer battered fish. Yum.

Tasty and imaginative tapas in a romantic setting. Try and get a table on the beach and be lulled by the Road Bay waves. Lovely gentle atmosphere, and a good place to chill out before a late night at The Pump House....

The Sand Bar is in a good location on Sandy Ground and we were able to get a table on the terrace by the waterfront. I was worried that there would not be enough food with tapas, so was reluctant to go. We were really pleasantly surprised. This was our first year trying Sandbar and is lives up to it's reputation. Tapas, sangria and a magnificent sunset make this a win/win place. Definitely go at sunset and share tapas dishes. Wait staf was delightful and service excellent.

A decent selection of wine and interesting tapas makes this a fun and reasonable alternative to high priced restaurant dining. Come for sunset and snag a table on the sand. Order a bottle of wine and 4 or 5 tapas and there you have it....a romantic and enjoyable evening out!

Great place. The tapas and drinks are great. It is a perfect place to enjoy a drink or two with great food while watching a beautiful sunset. How can it be any better.
