We tried to eat here for lunch but the only three items being served - beef stew, goat stew, iguana stew - all had onions and I can't eat them. We had some cold drinks and moved on. The staff was friendly enough and the location was nice, just didn't work out.

Ok, that maybe is local place but most people inside were tourists. Price of food was really too high, 20$/person. Meal was ok, but just ok. Good but nothing special. You get better meal cheaper almost everywhere in Bonaire, so that place is not worth of visit.

Although a lot of visitors had no problem (the goat stew was good) I had fish and food poisoning from it. Inquieries on the island led to the conclusion that locals avoid it as they know it is dirty and at times serve old and deep frozen food. Although staff and setting is nice you'd better avoid this or at... More

If we knew how good Rose Inn was, we would've stopped here more often than just on our last day (well, we tried earlier but they don't do dinner). It's situated in the "other town" of Rincon, which in itself makes a nice sight, and is definitely a unique place in a nice garden with only outdoor seating. The goat... More

$20 each for a glass of water, diet coke "salt fish" and red beans & rice. The only outstanding part of the meal was two slices of fried plantains. LOVE me some fried plantains. The rice compared favorably to stuff you can get in a bag at the grocery store - add water and boil. I'm guessing it was called... More

We were told that Rose Inn was great so we drove from town to Rincon, which is about 20 minutes away. When you drive up, you may not want to stay but make sure you do! The people are friendly and the food is incredibly delicious. My husband and I ordered the goat stew and fish (which was fresh caught... More

While many visitors to Bonaire don't make it a point to stop in Rincon, we did after being tipped off by locals saying this was THE place for local fare. After a lunchtime visit, I can confirm the locals have this one right. The warm greeting was nicely contrasted by the "coldiest" beers on the island being served up. There... More

We ate here twice it was so good, and worth the drive up to Rincon. It's local food, The chicken stew and the Goat stew were delicious. It's cooked to order and they only take cash. About $35 a couple. Large portions, and out of the world tender and wonderful. Nice subtle layering's of flavors that would do any foodie... More

We were refered here by a local. It's about as close as you will come to a local hangout. The atmosphere is very laid back, so don't be in a hurry. The servers and bar tender are very friendly and the goat stew is very good! Each time we ate there (3X) we would end up hanging out for a... More

The first time we visited in 2004, we were concerned about leaving a truck full of dive gear out front next to a bunch of seedy looking guys. The owner warmly greated us and informed us that they were all his relatives and the gear would be fine. Many beers, goat dishes and conch dishes later we departed after a... More
