After eating here one day, we ate here for lunch for 3 consecutive days. Had the goat and oxtails from #3 and stewed chicken from #2. They were all very nice at each but the owner of #3 comes out and takes orders himself and takes time to talk to you but they are tight with their plantains. Didn't get...

This is an authentic experience in Curacao dishes, the kind of inexpensive food stall food one might see from Anthony Bourdain on his series. There are six foodstands with picnic tables, we ate at the 2nd one from the right, with the heart that says "Love" over it. Try the goat, it is tender and delicious. The chicken was also...

Who said delicious has to be elegant?! This is as typical as it gets , good, authentic, high calorie local cuisine served with big smiles!! It's a marketplace that has been transformed into a communal eating space with shared tables in a yummy and noisy atmosphere!! A must visit for a real piece of Curacao!!

It's open M-F for lunch late morning to early afternoon. Plaza Bieu is on the Punda side of Willemstad downtown near the waterfront and a stones throw from the concrete open market rotunda/building. If driving, park at...

If you craving local food, here's the place to be. The amient is just as local as the food. If you know about taste, you surely know that food cooked on charcoal based fire tastes the best.
This was recommended to us by a local. We weren't aware until we got there, but there are 6 different mini-restaurants inside. Where you sit determines whose food you eat. It was delicious and a fun, unique experience. We felt like one of the locals!
Market place with all the local food. Try something with every thing on It. Goat, Chicken, Fish, veal and rice, patotos, Mango for 70 dollars 3 persons
We had heard that Curacao is not known for the food and that was our experience (mediocre, overpriced meals) until we discovered Plaza Bieu (old market). A guide recommended "Stall #6" and we ignored the person who tried to greet us at the entrance and made our way to the busy, crowded #6 at far end of the market. The...

This is a GREAT place to experience the authentic food of Curacao. It is located downtown right on the water where the cruse ships dock. We ate at Un Grasia di Dios and the food and service were great. We had the red snapper with rice and peas, and the stewed goat and they were both delicious. The staff was...
