Karen has taken over Patrick's (several years ago he past away and left the resturant to her) and she has been carring on his tradition. She cooks local cusine and if you are visitors she offers to server dishes like tappas you get something like 18 dishes you can share there were 4 of us and it was plenty of... More

Every time we go to Grenada we go to Patrick's. We always try to introduce new people as it is such a great experience of true Caribbean cooking. No menu, Karen just keeps on sending out plates of fantastic food. It won't be the smartest restaurant you have ever been to, but it ticks all the boxes, friendly, clean and... More

We stopped in for lunch, but discovered it was several courses. When we explained to Karen that was more than we were interested in eating, she made us a great lunch plate with several salads and a fish fritter.

My fiancee and I are both vegetarians and usually have difficultly finding anything other than veggie burgers and nachos when eating out. A friend recommended Patrick's, so we gave them a call. When the woman on the phone said she could accommodate vegetarians we made a reservation for the following hour. When we arrived, we expected to just get larger... More

I have no idea how any one could give this restaurant a bad review. We arrived at about 7 pm, and were welcomed by a very polite and well spoken young man. We could tell right away this was a family run establishment. We ordered a bottle of wine from the wine list (only one wine on the list). And... More

Simple home cooked Grenadian food. If you want flashy food and a posh setting go elsewhere, this is an unpretentious location, we found the service friendly an explanation of what each course was given. Lots of small portions of food should be enough to fill most bellies. The food was well cooked and tasty, I have visited Patricks many times... More

Excellent selection of local dishes well cooked. What a range of flavours and texture! A great atmosphere with a live local band as well.

I was one of the 9 with Sandra L. at Patricks in October. Her review is true and appropriate. We did have dinner. We paid our bill - which was a bit of a fiasco. When we asked what was being served, we only sometimes got an answer. I also will not visit here again. I am disappointed that the... More

Thank you for your response. Sorry to say, I do remember that particular rude group of customers, and their lack of respect for the waitstaff. And concerning the bill.... 20 different dishes each for a party of 9 persons at $23 USD per person is a 'fiasco'? No need to revisit. With an attitude like that, Ma'am, we'll consider your... More

Most of the locals recommended this place but I found it odd that most locals didn't eat here either. My husband and I called to make reservations. There is only one menu - the drink menu. How come the beer is cheaper than the juice? Anyhow, it is tapas style. We received 18 different sample dishes starting from soup, then... More

Thanks for your response. It looks as if locals don't eat at Patrick's, because the original owner, Patrick Levine, was quite a character and for what ever reason didn't like locals. We are trying to undo that damage, and get plenty of locals for our take-out lunches, but honestly, our meals are Grenadian and thus appear to be 'regular food'... More

Patrick's is a gem in the otherwise unvarying menus provided by most restaurants. Tapas style, some 15 different dishes based on local raw materials and local cooking tastes appear over an hour is a somewhat random way. Some delicious, some new tastes and one or two very different. Service was smooth and friendly. No, it is not fine dining but... More
