We were staying at the hotel and ate here a couple of times. We would have eaten here everyday but we did want to experience the rest of Negril. The food is great and the service was better. Everyone here is very friendly! Also if you plan to eat here, come here on Saturday for the show. It's awesome!!!
We had some of the best food here during our trip. It was consistently wonderful, even something as simple OAS the grilled cheese. The buffet on Saturday was unbelievable. Fairly priced as well with good sized portions.
We were walking here at night from Catcha Falling Star right across the street and besides the fact that the way there is a little dark and creepy, we were driven away by their playing of Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" song. Definitely not what we wanna hear during our tropical, Caribbean vacation.
My friends insisted that i visit Seastar on a Saturday night. The show was super! The girl who sang all night had the voice of just sweet music. She engaged the audience so well. The food however was not what i expected as the buffet choices were very limited and was not that tasty. However with such a great show...

The Saturday night show is incredible! The buffet is plentiful, the music and entertainment is incredible. We emailed our reservations on Friday and the shuttle picked us up and we had a table reserved near the stage. Everyone there was having fun. A great way to experience Negril in a safe setting.
This is the best place to start the party on a Saturday night! And the mocha cheesecake is to die for!!! You simply have to go and see for yourself! I "spent" New years there on their webcam...couldn't get to Jamiaca that year but the live webcam was my lifeline!
First day here in Jamaica and the coconut shrimp was to die for as well as the house made jerk sauce was wonderful. Staff very friendly make you feel like you're right at home.
Every saturday night the Seastar has live Jamaican music and a great buffet.
Experience jamaica in its rustic setting, off the big resorts in the heart of negril.
Awesome buffet, small crowd, great music.........louder than i like it but still enjoyable.
You do not have to be staying at the Seastar to come on a saturday night for live music...

Poutine, jerk chicken and great buffet not to miss in negril. Best place for Canadians to watch the hockey game.
