We were very surprised by the food we tasted from this very unassuming restaurant. We ordered 2 appies and 3 mains to share: chicharonnes, longaniza, mahi-mahi, sword fish, and another fish dish They were all AMAZING. The coconut mojito was also great. The money spent was all worth it. TIPS: They are closed Sundays and Mondays. We did not have... More

This was our first dining out experience in Puerto Rico followed by Marmalade and then Santaella the next two nights. As everyone has said, reservations definitely help. We were there on a Wednesday evening in a rain storm and there was still a 30 minute wait. It was well worth it though. The drinks were great but as we dined... More

This place is great. I would go if it was in New York. Yes it has a wait because it's great, and yes its moderately priced because they use expensive fresh ingredients. Stars shouldn't be taken away because lots of people want to go, or because you are cheap. If you don't want a wait or don't want to pay... More

I had a couple of appetizers, which I believe was Alcapurrias de Lump Crab and chicharrones de pescado. They were both awesome, but the alcapurrias were especially amazing. For my entree, I had the snapper which comes with avocado and mashed potatoes. It was very good. This is probably the most quality meal I've had since visiting San Juan for... More

The food is probably better here than in any other place in San Juan but the place is noisy has loud music playing all the time and the decor is not on par with the quality of the food.

My wife and I found this restaurant our last night in PR. It was the best food we had in PR for the least amount of money. It is off the beaten path and it didn't appear there were many tourists at the location but it is well worth your time and money. Well done Jose Enrique!

Great local Puerto Rican food. Our first night in Puerto Rico and my friend took us here. I am glad she was with us, or we might mot have found it. She knew some people so our 1 hr wait was only 20 minutes. Atmosphere is great, we shared appetizers and they were all outstanding but the fried pork was... More

By far, worst service experience ever. Waiter was incredibly rude, chef/owner encouraged his behavior. Food was OK but certainly not worth the hour+ wait and being treated the way we were by waiter was completely appalling. He was rude, offensive and owner clearly doesn't care about way his customers are treated. Stay away.

Definitely not a tourist restaurant. Only locals or folks in the know will be found here. Off the beaten path in a cool neighborhood. It is a small house converted into a restaurant. All of the wait staff speak excellent english. Food is incredible. The home made hot sauce is killer. Great beer selection and sangria. You won't be disappointed.
