I am a glorified "foodie" or what some may call a food snob and this was by far, hands down the best meal I have had anywhere. The Chilean sea bass with coconut sauce and multiple side "tastes" was absolutely phenomenal!

Probably the best overall meal we had while staying in the Grand Case area. Very good service and excellent portion size for the price. Every other restaurant had very small plates for the same or more expensive prices. 2 people without alcohol approximately $100 for apps and main dish.
We went to L'Auberge Gourmande for dinner last night. The food was outstanding and the service was great. It is a must if you enjoy good food. The owner is there to take care of you and oversees the restaurant. They offer a free glass of champagne to start and after dinner you will receive a shot of rum. By...

Just returned from St. Martin with our usual stop in Grand Case. One of our favorites is L'Auberge Gourmande. Three of us agreed it was the best meal of the week. Even offered us a free glass of champagne to start. Service was excellent and the food was superb.
All the food in St. Martin seemed to be amazing, but L' Auberge wins for me from the service to the spectacular taste! I absolutely recommend it. :)

Very good food and interesting presentation, but $7 for a (not particularly big) bottle of water is a bit much. And the service was so, so slow that we decided to skip dessert and eat crepes instead at the truck across the street (which weren't that great, but were fast).
We had a beautiful meal & the service is number one.
The owner & his assistant are awesome. We were welcomed with a glass of champagne. At the end of your meal they give you a shot of their house made rum. It was so good we bought a bottle.
The only suggestions we could make is dimmer lighting &...

This continues to the the best of the best! Pascal the owner is always there to make sure we are taken care of with the best service.
We were lucky enough to try this little gem on our trip to grande case. After checking it out against all the other restaurants it had one of the most charming decors.
Cozy intimate and very French
In feel. Food was wonderful.
Very professional service
We felt as we were dining in France
We can see why it gets so...
