Estaminet is truly a relaxing contemporary version of French gourmet dining. They have a nice selection of reasonably priced wines by the glass and Carole is excellent at providing the right selection to accompany the food. Everything was delicious. We started with the shrimp and crab maki and of course a bottle of wine. I had the seabass with chorizo which was 1 of 2 of my favorite pieces of fish that I had on the island. My husband had the turbot. The food here is DELICIOUS, but what's not wonderful is the bill... 1 entree, 1 appetizer, 3 glasses of wine and a bowl of soup ended up costing around $110. Food is great, but be ready to pay for it.

Stopped in for anniversary dinner and everything was absolutely amazing! The sea bass was cooked to perfection and the lobster had a very delicate balance of flavors. Absolutely the best meal we have had in a long long time! Definitely a must if you are on the island.

Elegantly prepared food, great presentation, good service. We really enjoyed our dinner! An excellent choice for a nice romantic dinner!

Do yourself a favor and walk farther down grand case blvd to this gem. Carole the owner was very welcoming and made sure to explain the menu to us. The duck terrine was outstanding to start. And any place that gives you a basket of freshly baked truffle bread with truffle butter will always be a winner in my book.... More
