we had heard of this place from friends but wow the food, ambience and situation wonderful. we thought the prices were in US not EC dollars. we had the pan seared tuna which was cooked to perfection with a delicous salad and the margaritas were pretty good too! cannot wait to come back.

We were on a sailboat so took our dingy to the beach to get to this restaurant. This dinner was more of an event than just dinner. The staff was very friendly and the food excellent. Our entire group enjoyed the setting, the food, the crowd, the staff, the prices. I could go on and on.......

Smallish bar right on the beach - access easier by walking along the beach from the road rather than the steep drive down from above. My husband and I ate at the Slipway twice recently. I have nothing but praise for the restaurant and the staff. The Mahi Mahi filet is a must have! Daniela the host, and Kate the chef, have got something special!

We ate at Slipway twice and were VERY impressed both times. Kate is a magician in the kitchen, producing perfectly cooked fish and delicious sauces presented simply, but beautifully. Menu choices were varied and different each night... and desserts to die for! Go for an amazing dinner... (lunch menu looked quite basic).
