I had the jerk chicken sandwich and wings. Both were pretty good! Nothing to give huge raves to, but not bad either.

Delicious food in a fine-dinning atmosphere and ambience! Prices are very reasonable! I tried the Chicken curry and was not disappointed...tried the famous hot-sauces and burned my tongue (cuz I'm not used to spicy/hot sauces)-but when in the Islands you gotta try what's good! :)
Always a great atmosphere in Gladys's - especially when the waitress starts to sing. Hot chicken salad and roti was as good as ever, along with the long island ice tea.
Talk about great atmosphere and island food and treasures - Gladys' is filled with both! She's tucked away on the Royal Dane Mall, you're met with lots of smiles and warm greetings. She's busy, because everyone loves the food, drinks and hospitality. We loved the jerk and fish offerings. Breakfast and lunch only, so plan somewhere else for dinner. Don't...

This place is presented as a local authentic type spot, but it isnt really. Its good as an alternative to hotel or resort food, but its definitely not authentic. Service was good, prices were high for a "local" spot ($18-$25 for most things), and it happens to be located in the primetime cruise ship shopping district, so its quite busy....

We went to Gladys' twice on our recent trip- for breakfast and lunch on separate days. We each had omelette's for breakfast, and for lunch, the jerk sandwich and chicken roti. Everything was wonderful and fresh. They had good drink specials and our meals arrived quickly. The service was some of the best I have experienced in any restaurant- very...

This is the place on St. Thomas for authentic island cuisine and to buy hot sauces. We had the goat curry and whole pan fried fish. They were both excellent! The food is made even better by the use of Gladys home made hot sauces which are available for purchase on the premises. I recommend Gladys' Cafe especially for cruisers...

This place was amazing. The service was fantastic. Great atmosphere hidden in the Royal Dane Mall Alleyway. Glad we found it and have it a try. Authentic local food and several homemade hit sauces. I would highly recommend this place. They are also open for breakfast.
Seems like a litte hole in the wall but worth the trip up the alley to get to. The curry goat is great and there jerk chicken sandwich is very flavorfull with out beig hot. We will be back.
After reading the reviews on trip advisor my wife and I made a point of eating lunch at glady's. I had curried chicken while my wife selected a roti dish. Both were large size portions and exceeded our highest expectations.. Definitely worth a visit. We will return on our next trip
