Easter morning/transfer day breakfast! If you're lucky, you'll get to sit at the seats with the view! We both got "the regular" except I substituted 1 pancake for toast for no extra charge! :) My hard fried egg was great and tasty, as well as the home fries, pancake and extra crispy bacon! Definitely do not pass up this little... More

Stopped here for a quick breakfast based on the Lonely planet "top choice" review. I had plenty of time to look at the view since it took them almost 1/2 hour to fry two eggs, and the place was empty. Food was average.

Excellent Bloody Mary, tasty omelets. Nice view of Cruz Bay and ample parking in the morning. Loved it!

Great hash, crispy bacon, excellent home fries, Jakes is the spot for breakfast in Cruz Bay. Prices good for STJ, most breakfast entrees were in the $11- $15.00 range. Friendly, efficient service.

I understand island time but this is a bit much. I felt badly for the server who was working the entire dining area. BUT we had ordered and decided to wait. And wait. Luckily we beat the crowds or it would have been lunch not breakfast! Food was sufficient and reasonably priced. Next time, I'll go early, get a window... More

Jake's is the only real place for breakfast in St. John. It's a Jersey diner with incredible food and view. And it's inexpensive by St. John standards. Everything is cooked really well to order. The coffee is better than Starbucks. What I liked best after the food was the "island" atmosphere created by the open air space of the restaurant.... More

Jake's is our favorite place for breakfast on St. John. We eat there multiple times during our visit each year. The hash is great! The breakfast burrito, omelets and waffles are also regular items on my order list. This year we tried the potato pancakes & they were awesome! The service is friendly (not super fast) & the prices are... More

I just attended a small wedding in St. John and we all had brunch at Jake's. The girl behind the bar is the owner, and her husband is the Chef. She makes the best Bloody Mary I've ever had! I had bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel- doesn't sound like much but it was amazing! It did take a... More

We have been traveling to Saint John for over 20 years, and have had many, many meals there. I read about "Jakes" on Tripadvisor, and decided to give them a try. So glad we did!! The food was awesome, the service was great, the view was beautiful! Shawn, the owner was very personable and accomodating! Great bloody Marys, great food!... More
