The Stone claw crabs were good. The food is good not great. The Cove is the best food on the island but this is a very good option as well.

Had two dinners here and each were delicious. Make sure to call as with most island restaurants they could be closed. Shrimp was amazing. Their peas and rice were the absolute best on the island.
We ate at the Front Porch during our stay in Eleuthera. It is located in Hatchet Bay, on your right side if you are heading south.
The service was very friendly and there was a nice view of a bay from the porch. Unfortunately the flies were a bit annoying while we were there, and they constantly attacked our food!...

The Front Porch was one of our favortie places we enjoyed. Loved the view from the patio, loved the food and enjoyed the gift shop. The stone crab was amazing. So happy we were able to experience such a great spot.
In the 2 weeks we spent in Eleuthera we enjoyed the food at this restaurant the most. They serve fresh, local food with an emphasis on fresh seafood. Family owned and serviced. The seafood sharing plate for $75 was great value and couldn't have been more fresh. The steamed seafood was amazing but the fried fish was some of the best I'd ever had. Enjoy.
This was the best dinner we had during our vacation. So fresh; well seasoned and excellent home cooking. Very relaxed, but attentive staff.
This place is really nice. The owners, Francis and Gina, do it all from catching the fish to cooking to serving to cleaning up and to entertaining. As a result, don't be in a rush. Just relax and enjoy.
This was, by far, our favorite place to eat on the island. Francis went above and beyond to make our dining experience special. We had fresh stone crab with saffron rice one night - which was fantastic. Another night we had the fresh catch with tuna, stone crab, blue crab, shrimp, and lobster served with a side of rosemary potatoes...

We went the The Front Porch for a second time because we enjoyed it so much a few weeks back. What a wonderful spot. The owners run this tight little ship with grace. Francis and Gina have not only created a serene and cozy space, but also the food is terrific! The meals are simply prepared with an authentic Bahamian...
