My wife and I called in for a bite to eat and were given a silent welcome from the young woman who merely raised her eyebrows which i took as meaning "good evening may I help you " . The staff member appeared totally uninterested provided us with the menu however failed to say what was not available until we... More

Often visit for lunch or wine and dine early menu. Excellent value for money and lovely surroundings. Have been of a few occasions for a la carte, but found to be quite expensive. . . I am not a great burger fan, however their steak burgers as great and cooked to perfection. We usually have Peroni however found their Schiehallion... More

Four friends meeting up to celebrate one of our birthdays, we wanted to eat in relaxed surroundings and on a bit of a budget. Imagine our surprise when, right on our doorstep we discovered the 'wine and dine' menu at Clark and Sons. Staff were attentive without any pushiness, setting modern, cosy and extremely comfortable, but the jewel in the crown... More

The food is just fine and reasonable in price. The decor is nice but as it is so open it seems quite "dinner hall" like. The service is absolutely atrocious. It really does make the place worse than it seems. The waiting staff have no awareness when it comes to checking tables for clearing used glasses or dishes or asking... More

It's not exactly cheap for what you are getting. Had their steak burger, which was actually really nice, but to charge a quid each for some cheese on the burger and a tiny little thimble of coleslaw is a bit of a rip-off. Chips were awful - the sort of lukewarm, skinny things you get in McDonalds or the likes.

I love this place for lunching with friends, i decided to hire the Private Dining Room for a special Birthday, i cannot praise the staff highly enough, i was able to reserve a large seating area in the lounge for about an hour this allowed me to greet guests and enjoy a few glasses of Prosecco, we then went through... Popped in today for the lunch special £9.95 (2 courses and glass of wine) we had a starter and main. The food was delicious but service was a little slow considering it wasn't busy. This wouldnt stop me returning but I do wonder how they cope with a busy restaurant.

enjoyed a meal with wife and family here followed by drinks. The food was good and we found the pricess fairly reasonable. The bar is big and spacious and is nice for a few chilled out drinks.
