We spent 3 weeks in Long Island this April and ate at Chez Pierre on 3 occasions. The food is great but you have to feel sorry for Pierre because he is obviously a very angry man who thinks it is quite appropriate to pass on his nastiness to his guests. A word of warning for those with children -... More

Our two teenage sons raved about their visit to Chez Pierre with their aunt and uncle, so we decided to visit. They mentioned that the food was really good, and that the owner was "interesting." I think that desribes the experience for us, as well. The restaurant is located off a dirt roadway on Long Island, and was easy to... More

Pierre was very amazing. He did it ALL single handed. Cooked, served, everything. Great night!

Our sailing group of four sailboats traveled from George Town, Great Exuma to Thompson Bay, Long Island this week. We rented two cars to explore the island. A local tourist guide had an ad for Chez Pierre Resort & Restaurant located on the beach (Bank side) in Millers, Long Island. We passed the sign for the resort on the main... More

When we decided to travel to Long Island we also made a point we had to go to Pierre's restaurant. Although we had read reviews about the Persona, heard he was a colourful character, we made the reservation and managed stressfully to get there on time (check where it is before you have to go there, the access is not... Pierre does your Pizza "a la minute", very tasty. The Restaurant is directly on the beach, it is a quiet and peaceful surrounding; we enjoyed our lunch very much. It was nice to speak french after being 5 weeks in the Bahamas... Good that Pierre stopped us when ordering 2 starters and 2 pizzas.... tooooo big! 1 small Salat for... More

My husband and I had dinner at Chez Pierre on the last night of our trip. We made a reservation ahead of time, but we were the only ones there. Pierre prefers that you make one anyway and I would suggest you follow that advice. He runs the resort all by himself and I suppose it helps him to know... More

We had read great reviews on this restaurant, however we were all skeptical as we traveled down a bumpy dirt road, to what felt like the end of the earth. At the end was a large screened in open air building, and 8 cute cottages. The main building was the restaurant and to our surprise it was packed with people!... More

I figured after reading the last couple of reviews I would post my experience. It was very quiet on the island so when we made our way down the long dark road to Chez Pierr's we were not sure we were at someones beautiful home or a restuarant. When we arrived we were surprized to be greated by Pierre himself... More
