First time here, location is very good near plaza Rio and has a good atmosphere to have lunch or dinner. They have a separate parking lot if you don´t happen to find in the front of the restaurant. The menu is usual mexican food with some extra specialities that you should try, the food quality was good, but nothing espectacular.... More

I have been to this place twice, yet, I have not had any food there. Both times we were seated but were not given menus. I flagged a waiter down and said we would be right over with the menus and to take our drink order. He just kept walking by, seating incoming patrons with their menus in hand. I... More

This review is actually for their Rosarito location but been to both and they are both great. This is a nice change of pace of the usual heavy "combinacion mexicana" that many tourists order to get a sampling of cuisine. Mole is something not too many tourists know about. Recommend ordering the Mole Poblano, the House Specialty, for your first... More

The chicken en mole is the best I have ever had that wasn’t home made. The quality of the food is only out done by the service. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxing. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It has always been a good dinning experience here.

Nice little place. Homemade chips are good, not greasy. Guac was good. You get a soup, a chicken cilantro maybe? It was good, just broth and rice. Mole poblano was good, but standard beans and rice accompanyment. My mom did not love her chicken fajitas. Then you get a free sweet tamale. It's a bargain like most in TJ and... More

The mole is the best I have had. The mole sauce is rich and tasty. The guacamole is good as is the chicken soup. I highly recommend this restaurant as it is a hidden gem in Tijuana. You get a lot of food for the money and the service is excellent. There is also a man playing the piano which... More

I went here hoping for authentic MExican cuisine. The problem is that ALL food is served off of the buffet. First, the order was done incorrectly. My food came cold -- so cold that I sent it back twice, but they could not get it right. Worst of all, the plate was dirty and the whole place needed a good... More

Then comes the main meal I ordered the enchaladas eith the chicken and mole sauce (moll-aye) sauce Also chocole chilli sauce and it's good. They then bring... More

The reviews I read before going here were right on the money - terrific food. I've only had the breakfast here and will definitely be going back for the dinner menu. The chilaquiles were some of the best I've had, with salsa verde, revueltos and served with fried potatoes and refried beans. Even the bacon was done properly, and went... More

I visit La Casa del Mole every time I am in Tijuana. Of course, I am a mole fanatic. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is a great option, Sundays usually have a live piano or guitar player, very relaxing.
