We were so disappointed with our dining experience. We went to Huatulco as a family (13 people) and ate at many different restaurants and this was, by far, our worst dining experience. One waiter took drink orders (one drink at a time - one person asked for a coke and he would rush off to get the coke; when he... More

While staying at the Villa Blanca we walked around the corner to find a true gem of a restaurant, The L'echalote restaurant's Chateaubriand dish was absolutely excellent so we came back the next evening for another great meal. Service was attentive and excellent and our dining experience was so good that next year we may stay at their hotel.

Probably everybody will find in this small, cozy place restaurant something more than tempting and interesting. Good wine, open minded people willing to talk and share life opinions. Good food for reasonable prize. Place where honeymooners start understand why you (Ladies) and Tequila makes us, men, feel crazy. Simply a must place if you are in Huatulco. Oil & Gas... More

I had researched restaurants prior to our trip to Huatulco, and was so looking forward to trying L'Echalote. It was a stone's throw from our hotel Villa Blanca. My daughter and I went to dine at 6:30 pm on Sunday night (January 27th). We were really excited to try this restaurant. To say it was disappointing was an understatement. We... More

We went here because of proximity to our condo, and Trip Advisor Reviews. Meal was good. Staff is very attentive. We had two meals cooked to order, a salad and 4 beers. Total was about 500 pesos. Overall really good, not the best value but a nice quality meal.

Four Seaons salad, garlic soup with egg, sweet and sour fisg, and beef bourginon are were expertly presnted and thoroughly enjoyed. the very knowledgeable staff and wonderful casual atmosphere made our dining experience another great one at L'Echalote.

We spent new years eve at L'echalote, and we had a wonderful time! Not only did we eat an awesome meal prepared by french chef Thierry, but we also had a great time at the restaurant and afterwards at the bar. I totally recommend this restaurant.
