This is a casual restaurant on the Malecon (boardwalk) in downtown PV. Service was very attentive, and the food was a delightful surprise! I went for a solo Sunday lunch. Bread is accompanied by a spicy salsa, a cream cheese spread with poblanos, and butter. I ordered gazpacho which was one of the best I have ever had, and goat... More

We dined here during Restaurant Week in May using their three course set menu for $189 pesos ($16 US). Loved the appetizers of roasted cauliflower with goat cheese and the zucchini soup with shrimp. A main course of fettuccini was good and the Chicken Envoltinis with mashed potatoes and gorgonzola sauce was excellent. The warm chocolate cake with liquid center... More

Just ate here during restaurant week and had a fantastic meal. And only 189 pesos for three courses! (that is less than $16) Timed it perfectly for a very special PV sunset. Nice piano accompaniment. Felt just right. Everything from the quality of the food to the service to the truly wonder-full location made it one of the more memorable... More

Every time we're in PV, my wife and I eat here at least once. The location right on the Malecon is great for people watching and sunset watching and the food is great. We ate there last night from their Restaurant Week menu and were impressed again. Their regular menu offers many appetizers and entrees in two sizes so you... More

My husband & I love this restaurant. The food & drink are excellent and you can't beat the view. This restaurant is right on the sidewalk, near the foot bridge facing the ocean.

My wife and I recently returned from our yearly vacation to PV. One of the best restaurants is Vitea on the Malecon. The food, especially the tacos de pescado, is great as well as the people watching and view at this Bistro. We usually go for lunch but the breakfast and dinner selections are equally pleasing. Jeff

We've eaten at Vitea every year for the last 7 years. It remains a consistent good value with great service. Love that you can have small plates of entrees if you wish!

What could possibly better than sitting in the sun watching the world go by while enjoying a fine brunch at Vitea restaurant on the Malecon. My wife and I both enjoyed the spinach quiche with salad accompanied by a lovely bottle of Pino Grigio - very civilised we believe! Obviously the ocean view and ambience of Vitea together with the... Great selections on menu. Pasta, red snapper, are the best. Friendly waiters. Go for sunset. Walk the malecon after. Great location for people-watching.

Three of us had dinner at Vitea the first week in April,, 2013. Our table was lovely and when the sun was setting the waiter lower the umbrella in front of us which was very thoughtful and nice. We ordered many half dishes and shared, all were excellent. So why not a 5 star review? We had to put our... More
