While it is impossible to judge a restaurant by one dish, based on their posole rojo, I would not eat at this restaurant again. Posole happens to be one of my favorites and I feel I am a good judge of it's quality. At El Tule it was very ordinary and served as I've never seen it before - that... More

Neat small town not far from Oaxaca. Had the greenest park areas we have seen in Mexico. The Tule Tree is fabulous. Hope it lasts another 2000 years!

Great seafood restaurant right near the arches - on your left as you face the arch and the giant tree. Fireworks on the festival of candelaria are awesome...

A tree over 2000 years old - one of the oldest living things on the planet! Respect. It looks in great health and is looked after and around there are some markets - a pleasant trip

It's a very, very, very BIG tree...but I would have enjoyed it more in the middle of a forest not in a tourist attraction area...Wish it wasn't included in every single tour of the area...

The tree is every bit as impressive and the descriptions claim. You won't believe how big it is, and it's in a wonderful plaza setting. Very easy to get to by bus.

Respect nature and pay homage to Tulle tree. This is enroute to several vllages and worth a stop. It is majestic in width and breath taking. I alwayt stop and have seen it a hundred times. Each time I am awed by the tulle tree

The famous tree is truly enormous (its trunk is 14m in diameter and still growing) and it's set in a beautiful, relatively new garden. Before you head back to town, step into the market between the tree and the main road for delicious fresh fruit juice.

Gigantic tree next to a tiny church which looks like it was made of candy. Nice stop on you way to Mitla or to San Cristobal!

The trip into view this frozen waterfall was as interesting as the waterfall itself. The water is cold not hot - remember to take your swimming costume. The views were terrific and the water aqua. We did this as part of a tour.
