Chocolate City has a great atmosphere and the food was good. It was a great place to hangout and people watch also. Cant remember what we ordered but everyone was happy with the meal.

I remember going to the venue that use to be in kukulcan plaza and it was truly beautiful inside. The chocolate was enough of a reason to get me in but it was definitely tasteful and needless to say, mouthwatering desserts. Love this place! Will be coming back soon.

The restaurant definitely knows how to pull people in and look appealing. There's always a large crowd. The food is overpriced and not very good. If you're looking for a light lunch you won't find it here. Overall it's just a mediocre tourist trap restaurant. Considering that it lies within a city with so many wonderful dining options, I would... More

. . . was enough to get me and my family into this place, but the food and desserts don't really live up to the dream of a moniker like "chocolate city"

Got ice cream (that purported to be gelato but wasn't) and it was very tasty. Reasonably priced. There is a good yogurt place next door.

The portions are really big here, so be prepared to take home leftovers so you can have room for dessert! The staff served our drinks (four high!) on the head of one of the waiters -- unreal!

Came inside with my wife to drink some coffee and maybe try something made of chocolate. Only one table was being served, a waiter came in a matter of seconds and we ordered a latte and a strong espresso. After ten minutes the guy came with our order. Then I asked for sweetener and I was answered NO, we don't... More

Nothing overly fancy but it's convenient, open late and some pretty amazing chocolate based desserts. Great place to absorb a few hundred calories!

Finding a moderately priced restaurant in Cancun isn't easy so when we stumbled upon Chocolate City in La Isla Shopping Plaza we decided to give it a try. We didn't expect anything but decent burgers, etc., and we weren't disappointed. The service was efficient and professional and the food was on par with TGI Friday's, Applebee's, etc. We did not... Basic food; burgers, pasta - but you can get chocolate sauce or chocolate chunks with the food. Good for younger people and families.
