Whereas this wasn't our worst meal in Cozumel, it wasn't memorable. The service was fine, the ambiance is average and the food wasn't terrible. I will say though that if you do go, the mustard sauce is a unique taste and worth a try.

This was our second visit here. We came to the island one day last year and found this place, and couldn't not come again. The fajitas are the best we've ever had. Good prices and great service. The margaritas were great. It only a short walk from the ferry dock, but well worth the stroll. Check them out.
Friendly place, great service and the food is always good. Nice dinner out with my husband. I always get the fish, good margaritas.
When La Choza burned down several years ago, we thought that we would not have this consistently good, basic Mexican food spot to frequent, but fortunately, it rose form the ashes and moved into the next building. Very good breakfasts and good value dinners.
We have been coming here for years. Great sea food Yucatan style and by far the best Margaritas we have had in Mexico. Mango Margaritas are to die for. Extremely pleasant and comfortable. Cruise ships were in on this day and most restaurants were doing so - so. This place was packed. The most I have ever seen. Not sure...

This was an out of the way off the main drag place to eat. The meal was great and was recommended by Melissa at the Resort. Short Taxi ride downtown. The Mariachi band played at our table. The food portions were a good value.
First time at the "new" location. Really nice setting. The food was just awesome. With the way the room is arranged, it's nice and cool even early afternoon.
Just had lunch today at La Choza. The food and service was very good and I would rate them 4 stars for their comical corrida menu. Unfortunately, we think they charged us more than what the locals are charged for the same meal. Our local friends pay 80 pesos. Today we paid $110.00. It seems wrong to us. Discrimination. We...

La Choza opens at 7:30 every morning and is open for 3 meals a day. Very nice atmosphere-not air conditioned but has lots of ceiling fans and is very comfortable. Try the Megas eggs for breakfast if you want something a little different and their Azteca Soup and Shrimp Soup are great. Service is friendly and most of the staff...

Just what we wanted! Very authentic, but most of the service spoke fluent English so communication was not a problem. Easy to find on foot with a map in downtown. Impeccable food and prices. (Good bathrooms too, always important) Pretty sure they also had free wifi for anyone who just can't stay unplugged :p I highly recommend La Choza, don't...
