We love this little restaurant back near 70th and 10th. The lionfish is amazing. Especially the xcalakoko, which is a lightly coconut crusted and delicately fried fish. Lots of food for the money. Great and friendly service. We look forward to going back next year!

It was a small but very nice Mexican style restaurant. Excellent food - I had the lobster and appetizer of octopus salad. My friends had different lobster dishes all fresh and tasty! The manager(and I believe owner) brought out a delicious cake and sang Happy Birthday in Spanish to me! First visit, but certainly not the last!

Lionfish is eating away at the local fish in the reefs of Cozumel. What can you do? Eat it back. This seems like a great place to do it. I ordered Lionfish Fillet in Kisin sauce. The dish looked superb (and I do love restaurants that take the time to make a dish look good), with a nicely arranged salad,... More

The food is so fresh, plenty and taste great.Friendly and nice staff with a nice atmosphere. Is the overall experience that makes this place a really good one. Not in a tourist area so you know is the "real deal"

I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I ate the smaller portion of mixed ceviche (conch, octopus, shrimp) and for an entree I had the grilled Lion fish (this fish is not endemic to the area and is destroying the reefs - eat away). The food was reasonably priced, fresh and tasty. The service was great. The place was clean,... More

We visited this gem on the way home to the airport for lunch. It was quiet, and the service was good. They take credit cards! But I would always call a restaurant to be sure this is the case. We had some guac and chips and ordered fish tacos and kabobs. The grilled shrimp kabobs were AWESOME! Good price and... More

My girlfriend and I were astonished at our amazing ceviche as well as 2 fresh catch entrees for about 45$ USD! Service was great and in a great quaint little part of the city. A must for seafood lovers.

We asked a cabby where to eat the best seafood in Cozumel. He took us to where the locals go and we were not disappointed. It is not in any of the standard tourist areas so you will need to take a cab but it is well worth the effort.

The restaurant came highly recommended by Dan at Casita de Maya (our hotel) - it was a short 4 block walk straight down the street. It is an open air restaurant (no a/c) and quite casual, but still very comfortable. The place was busy for a Tuesday evening and noticed quite a few local families eating - the food had... More

This place has pretty good food. They specialize in sea food but I ordered the chicken fajitas. My dad ordered the lobster. The food is a little pricy though. We walked to this restaurant from our hotel (Casita de Maya). It is very easy to find. The waiters speak very good english, so there will be no language barriers. I... More
