Great food and big menu with value. It has become one of our regular spots when on the Island. Locals and tourists alike eat here.
It was the closest restaurant & bar to the resort we were staying at, so we decided to walk to it one night we didn't feel like cabbing into town. Pizza was ok. Wine was fine. Service was very disappointing. Waiter was not happy we had to pay with credit card.
A nice roadside restaurant on the main bayside north-south road with enough depth so you're not directly on the road with exhaust smells. For dinner (opens at 6pm) we had a squid stuffed with seafood and a deep fried poblano pepper stuffed with seafood--both were delicious and a definite do-over! So far out of the 25 or so restaurants we've... More
This place has an outdoor patio and an inside private room. Good food, large portions. We split a dinner. It was very quiet, but we went about five in the afternoon so it was a bit early still for the dinner crowd. Service was nice and quick, and food presented very well. Easy to find location too.
We spent July 20 - 27 on Isla Mujeres, here for swimming with Whale Sharks... We traded our timeshare for Raintree's Villa Vera, which is NOT an all inclusive resort! Thank heavens... Sesoloco is located just down the street from Villa Vera Resort. From the downtown/Ferry area of Isla, you will need a golf cart or taxi. The prices are... More
We have travelled to isla twice in the past year and have eaten at sesoloco on both occasions. The restaurant itself is very charming with a rustic open air setup. There is a big projection screen which was playing lucha libre wrestling on our one visit! Their are two menus, one in Spanish and one in English which is helpful.... More
Lots of menu choices and fresh ingredients. Not too expensive, either. Flank Steak tacos and Fish tacos were delish as were the array of sauces brought with the meal. Warning: habanero sauce is muy picante!
We love Sesoloco for great fresh food at very reasonable prices! Great service, fun staff and everything that comes out of the kitchen is delicious! We've tried most things except the pizza but we have friends who rave about that also. Go, eat, relax,enjoy...you won't leave disappointed!
A local I know was raving about this place. I asked her what was good: "Everything!". Ok, then, how about a few examples? I'm not sure what was said because when my brain heard 'fish with mango sauce', every other dish mentioned was forgotten. So it is of course what I ordered once I got there. I got this huge... More
We had supper at Sesoloco in March and found it very good. I really enjoyed the Aztec soup and my husband loved his Mexican beef dish. The guacamole was also yummy. The staff is wonderful and the prices are very reasonable.
