Tired of tacos and pico de gallo I thought we struck gold when we saw the Droppin' Some NYC Deli. It is good to know that you can get an actual deli sandwich on this island. My reuben was okay, a little soggy but okay. Pickle, fantastic! Service was also slow for us being the only customers. Despite that I... More

We stopped into this restaurant because of a sign promising cold beverages. We had no intention of buying food. However, we were impressed by the owner's enthusiasm and helpfulness so we decided to try one of his sandwiches. These are New York style sandwiches made with deli meats he prepares himself, and the sandwiches are quite large. We had already... More

We first went to NYC Deli when they were in their former location and had great service and good food. On returning again this year we went hoping for the same quality but were disappointed in what we got. I had a club sandwich, my wife had a vegetarian sandwich. Both of us felt the same way, there was too... More

While on Isla Muerjes, found this great sandwich place with great drinks and food. Wednesday was Hot Dog day and we made time to leave the beach and stop by for a Hot Dog. It was great and the owner is fantastic.

I had some out of this world cajun shrimp...amazing! I recommend this place for its tasty food & awesome service. The owner Mark and his wife (and their adorable son) are super sweet & accommodating.

Great place! food is fantastic in a perfect local. Hard to believe you can have east coast deli in paradise. The owner Mark was super friendly and made us feel at home. We had to go back a few times to try the other sandwiches.

All fresh food, the owner/chef makes his own corned beef and pastrami, the bread all baked daily. Excellent. Great kosher hotdogs. The "buns" are fresh hard rolls that are partly hollowed out (to allow for the fixings!). Mark - the owner - friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. May seem odd to eat New York style food on the island - but... More

We were new to Isla like you may be. A couple in our early 40's falling in love with the vibe of Isla. nothing was better then strolling down Hidalgo and picking a place to try... so many choices. I had a simple build your own pastrami sandwich on the best bread imaginable...we enjoyed our meals and many others. The... More

Delicious Italian sub. Very flavorful and great bread. Would recommend to anyone wanting a bit of home when on the island. Our group really enjoyed getting it "to go" for the beach. The potato salad was also a hit! A great addition to the many wonderful eateries. Six stars********
