The Restaurant is very nice, well located, very good service, air conditioned; but for tacos is expensive. Consider $200 Pesos per eater, but not alcoholic beverages or more expensive.

While staying at the Double Tree Hilton I asked the staff where I could get a good taco. ( I love me some tacos ) All three at the desk said Los Trompos much enthusiasm. Now I know why. Best tacos I've had in this area, very friendly staff, and very affordable. Go. You be happy you did :)

This restaurant is a block away from Merida's central plaza. On Friday and Saturday nights about 9 pm the street is closed to vehicles and the restaurant places it's chairs and tables out on the street. Live music completes the setting. The food is affordably priced yet tasty. Tacos and Yucatecan fare are the primary dishes.

For meat lovers and tacos eaters is a great place. They have several restaurants around the city and inside some malls. Is not a fancy space but good enough to try it.

Located in downtown Merida. Lots of tacos choices. Live band on Fridays and Saturdays at night. Restaurant brings tables and chairs out to the "closed" street for dinner and music. Dancing, eating and drinking at best. Enjoy.

This Restaurant is right on the main square in Merida. It is friendly, has great food and drinks, and is very cheap. We went there several times during out visit. On Sunday evening a band played, which was very nice.

Tacos are good, PokChuc was excellent, but getting your nachos (from the entrada section of he menu) after the meal is frustrating. Tip if you like your nachos BEFORE the meal : Order your nachos, wait until they arrived and then order your meal.

For me Los trompos is just one of the best taquerías in town, they have really good and consistent service and their downtown location is pretty convenient, overall it's just one of my favorite places for tacos!

Of the Centro restaurants this place has the best band. They have live music Thursday to Saturday at 8 PM (possibly other times as well). Band is inside - people are ouside on the crowded street. Great people watching!
