We get together with friends frequently on Wednesday nights and have dinner at a local restaurant. La Tratto is a group favorite. Once the sun sets it is a pleasant place to sit outside and enjoy the food and company of friends.

We have now been to this resturant 3 times and everytime our meal has been great I can honestly say that I have had as good of food but, not better. Tenderloin mmmmm good.

La Tratto is one of the places popular with the better off population of Merida who gravitate towards European cuisine. The terrace outside is very pleasant but a bit too dark to read a menu properly without a torch: the waiter kindly provided one. :-))) We had carpaccio of beef and caprese salad as starters, followed by the very good...
