This is a tiny restaurant on 38th just off Fifth Avenue. They serve delicious and different tacos and burritos. The service was very attentive and informative, which made the experience a cultural lesson as well as a great meal. The price is very reasonable.

One of the pleasures of traveling is to stumble across great eateries and this was definitely the case for us with La Exquisita de la 38!! My wife, two kids and I loved the food here. Very reasonably priced as it is just off the main tourist traps. Highly recommended!!
This restaurant is 20 feet off of 5th avenue so no tourists come here, but they serve amazing tacos and tortas in the traditional Yucatan style. Worth checking out if you're in the area
How could they do this...and why??? I took a friend to La Exquisita this week as I was raving about their burritos. When we ordered we were told that they no longer make them. BIG MISTAKE! I will only return if they put them back on the menu. Without the burritos this restaurant is only average.

Very simple food that mostly involves 3 ingredients with not much oomph or taste. The food was not terrible but was not super tasty either. The dishes are covered by plastic bags so they don't have to wash them- instead they change the plastic bags Nuff said
My mom and I stopped here one afternoon, after I read so many wonderful things about La Exquisita. I agree that the staff was very helpful and the food was very good. I also like that it's towards the North end of the "strip", because that's where we stay and it's nice not having to walk too far to find...
