The restuarant was outside of San Miguel--defnitely off the beaten path--but in a relaxing beautiful setting. The food was excellent. We'd go back again.

An afternoon comida at Nirvana is like a mini-vacation and retreat. The food is creatively presented and flavorful. It is a place to linger and one of favorites.
What an amazing garden setting where it is hard to choose as the indoor space is just as lovely. Excellent service, mighty fine Margaritas, and very disappointing food. Will go back just to revisit the peacocks and wander around this magical property.
This was a real treat, after a dusty motorcycle ride, to pull into this beautiful oasis, only a short distance from San Miguel. The natural beauty of the place, the ivy growing over iron railings, the green lawn, the old cacti gardens, tables with umbrellas, looking out over the countryside. I could not have been more lovely. And the food...

Besides, we've wanted to love this place because its so beautiful.
Over the past 3 years, we've always been...

Now this is the place for good Mexican food!! The place is serene and surrounded by nature... The staff is very courteous and Juan Carlos (the chef and owner) is an excellent host. It is a few minutes outside of town but well worth the drive -- highly recommended for couples!
Nirvana is located about 5 miles (8km) outside of San Miguel. It is a wonderful location (very green and lush) for a leisurely lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We split a duck taco appetizer, a caesar salad and grilled lamb chops. The meal was very tasty and the service efficient and friendly. Since we have become quite fond of Mexican...

The service was slow, but the food was excellent. Has a tuna sashimi which was better than most. The view and surroundings are really beautiful. Great value. We went for lunch and it was a nice break from dining in San Miguel Will definitely visit again.
I took a professional Greek Chef yesterday and she loved the ambiance; food; service; wine, and all the folks enjoying life in this beautiful country setting.
We split the huge Espinaca.Manzana salad with chopped nuts and Blue Cheese dressing.
We each had the marvelously fresh (hey, I just returned from 10 nights at Hot las Palmas on Playa Blanca in...
